Notetaking Services Information for Faculty
DAS makes every effort to identify a note taker for your class. In some cases, DAS may need faculty assistance to recruit a note taker. If your assistance is needed in the recruitment process, DAS will provide an announcement via email. We request that you read the employment announcement to the class as soon as receive the notification. Additionally, if you identify a student in the class that attends class regularly, sits in the front of the class, and is an excellent student, please suggest to the student that you think he/she would be an excellent candidate to be a note taker for the class. Additionally, if we are not successful recruiting a note taker we may request a copy of faculty notes or loan a tape recorder to capture the lecture.
