Priority registration allows you to register for classes the Friday prior to general registration. When scheduling your courses, please consider the following guidelines:

-
Obtain the PIN number from your advisor
-
Register on the Friday designated for priority registration; this is your opportunity to register early

Use your priority status to your advantage! Do consider your disability-related needs and issues when scheduling. Take into account:
-
The time the class meets
-
If class meets daily
-
Avoid scheduling back-to-back classes
-
If your course load has a balance of academically challenging and less difficult classes
Classroom Relocation
-
Students are responsible for verifying that classroom locations meet their access needs

If the building or classroom is not accessible, students must notify the DAS office. Because moving the location of a classroom affects a significant number of students, students should verify access to their classes immediately following registration

Reduced Course Load Request (9-11 credits)
Students who disability substantially limits their ability to complete a full time load may be eligible for a reduced course load of 9-11 credits. Students carrying nine hours per term will be considered, based on their eligibility, for the campus-based programs (Perkins NDSL, Ford Federal Direct Loan Program, PLUS), and Pell Grant (3/4 time). Recommendation for this accommodation is coordinated by the Director of DAS.
Students can request a reduced course load (9-11 credits) on 1. a yearly basis or, 2. term-by-term basis. Students should email the DAS Director at least two weeks prior to the year/term indicating which option they are requesting.
